Prosecuting Serious and Violent Offenses

This module explains what types of juvenile offenders go on to commit serious and violent offenses. The research also covers risk factors for gang involvement and research-based practices for gang interdiction and family-based treatments. A discussion of the current rise in violent cases among juveniles nationally will also take place and possible interventions, including law enforcement community building, will be discussed.
