NDAA 2025 Prosecutor Advocacy Conference
February 4-5, 2025
Washington, DC
Coinciding with the 119th Congress, NDAA’s annual policy conference gives NDAA members the opportunity to hear directly from the Administration, Federal agencies, and Capitol Hill speakers over the course of two days. On day one, you’ll be treated to presentations from influential Members of Congress as well as key stakeholders in the President’s administration. Following a full day of presentations, you will have the chance to schedule a full slate of meetings with your Congressional delegation as part of NDAA’s Advocacy Day on the Hill.
NDAA is happy to announce our 2025 Legislative Priorities to members early this year, so members may review and be familiar with the initiatives. We also encourage members to reflect on their personal experience with these issues and welcome anyone that would like to share insight, difficulties, or successes on these topics:
- Prosecutor Hiring & Retention - HIRRE Prosecutors Act
- The Crime Victims Fund - Victims of Crime Act
- Combating the Opioid Crisis & Other Illicit Drugs
- Bolstering Online Child Safety
- Curbing Retail Crime
NDAA's 2025 Prosecutor Advocacy Conference:
- Building off February 3’s training, the Advocacy Conference will begin with an in-depth review and discussion of NDAA’s established legislative priorities for the 119th Congress
- Breakout sessions will focus on strategies to formalize messaging and priorities for attendees prior to meeting with Congressional delegations
- Breakout sessions will highlight key legislative priorities such as prosecutor hiring and retention, VOCA funding, and combating the opioid crisis to map out important talking points, each led by members of NDAA's Legislative Committee
- NDAA updates and networking opportunities from YOU, our members
- Keynote speakers from leading Members of the Congress that are championing the legislative efforts that benefit prosecutors and our communities
